YS&DD Cues was founded in Stuttgart in 2025 by Davut Dikme and Yueqi Shang – born from their shared passion for the perfect cue. As the brand’s debut masterpiece, the "Ultimate Series" seamlessly bridges rigorous material science with traditional craftsmanship, setting a new benchmark for high-end snooker cues.

The creation of every cue shaft begins with a meticulous and scientific selection process. We individually evaluate each premium ash wood blank across three strict physical dimensions: first, through precise weighing to select the maximum material density for absolute stability; second, by measuring and analyzing longitudinal stiffness to guarantee a solid, crisp hit; and finally, by evaluating acoustic resonance frequencies to isolate wood with minimal internal damping. Under this rigorous screening mechanism, only a select few blanks meet our uncompromising standards. This fundamentally ensures a direct, highly efficient energy transfer, delivering a lively, honest feedback and extremely low deflection.

Every qualifying cue shaft is masterfully hand-planed by our master cue-maker. This slender cue shaft craftsmanship maximizes the wood's inherent elasticity while maintaining exceptional core hardness. This allows players to generate extreme spin (effet) with effortless ease, while ensuring a perfectly smooth glide through the bridge.
